Programs to start when machine starts

Again...
In the simplest of ways...how do I add a program to the Task Manager in 8, that will start when the machine start?

Well, one way is to create a shortcut and copy it to the startup folder.
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\StartMenu\Programs\Startup
or
C:\Users\(user)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

Hi Harald,
the simplest way i know is to copy a shortcut of the program in this folders:

WIN+r will open the dialog:





then write


this will open the folder where to copy the program shortcut you want to start as a user


or write



this will open the folder where to copy the program shortcut you want to start system wide

you can the disable or monitor those program simply with the task manager.
