M$ is missing the bucks on Media Center

Micro$uck in my opinion, is missing the bigger picture when it comes to their Media Center.

AT&T, Apple & Google are all catering (wining & dining) the movie and TV industry moguls (NBC, CBS, Disney, etc.) trying to entice them into deals, which allows them to provide the normal broadcast venues via the internet. So, you subscribe for your daily TV programs via AT&T, Apple TV, Google TV, thus eliminating the likes of Comcast, DirectTV, Cox etc.

They want to supply you your programming via the internet.

Now Micro$uck on the other hand, already has the perfect software in place for all of this. Media Center, gives a rich menu driven broadcast TV, which honestly (I think is better than Cable), it also, has auto DVR's built in. great remote control options; everything plus, much, much more

BUT what is M$ trying to do?

They are trying to phase their Media Center out of Windows!!!!!
To me that is insane, they have everything already in place, soooooo, wine & dine the industry and start providing the entertainment.

BUT Microsoft is so stupid, they will phase it out. Wait, until everyone is already doing it, wait another 6 years and then try to re-invent Media Center as the newest, bestest, program for multi-media; Maybe they will call the new OS Windows 8 Revisited.

It really is very simple. . .very few use it, hence why spend money on programers for something that is useless. Also, with your use of the $ just shows me that there is some kind of dislike on your part for whatever Microsoft does. . .have a nice day. . .:)

Lee, your Avatar looks like a severed head in the guillotine basket. I think the poor girl would appreciate it if you could straighten her up.

Well, WMC saves me $60.00 a month in useless settop box rentals. and I have been using MS ever since it was conceieved. MSDOS. My only dislike with Microsoft has been since "Whacko" Balmer, took over. It disgusts me to see a good company run into the ground. So don't lecture to me about bias. I suggest you take those rose-lensed glasses off and take a look at the real world. DUH!!
