Right Side Toolbar

I just purchased a laptop with Windows 8 installed on it. I have one problem. I know if you hit one of the corners of the screen the right toolbar becomes activated and is displayed. My problem is that it tends to be displayed when I move the cursor in the middle of the screen. When it is displayed I have to deactivate it in order to continue what I was doing. I do not mind the toolbar if it is not so sensitive. Any suggestions?

I prefer Start8 to disable certain Metro functions; however, that program costs a whopping $4.99 (after a 30 day free trial) so you may want to also consider trying Classic Shell which is a free alternative and preferred by many (but I've never used it personally):

Start8 ? Download the Windows 8 start menu from Stardock

Good luck

I second this suggestion. Start8 and ModernMix are two Stardock apps that I have installed. I can skip the Metro UI but still run Metro apps windowed on the Desktop.
