A quick suggestion to get into Desktop view real quckly...

I moved the Desktop Tile to the top left of the screen and once Windows logs you in, slap the space bar and bam! You're in. start.jpg

Nice. With multiple monitors, I haven't had to even think about that but, it appears to work just as nicely even there.

With multiple monitors, at this time in the development process, if I click on a different monitor and I don't have a Metro App running and focused, it has always brought the desktop back on the primary monitor (or the one to which I've switched Metro to via the built-in multi-monitor taskbar).

WIN+D will get you to the desktop too - and from anywhere.

WIN+D will get you to the desktop too - and from anywhere.
I use this a lot more. I don't see the need to press spacebar once when I can use win+D all the time.
Also what's handy is that if you run a metro app from boot, the desktop process isn't actually started until you run a desktop application. :)

Oh wow, I never realized that Win+D works in Metro apps!
