Greetings Win 8 users. I am having a strange problem where I move files (user files, documents, etc) to subfolders and a little while later they are back in their prior location. I rebooted the computer and it is still doing this.
Sometimes the file will appear in the parent and child directory. If I delete it from the parent directory, it vanishes from the child directory as well. I have to rescue it from the trash. I drag it from the trash to the desired child directory and shortly after that, it is visible in the parent directory and child.
I can't manage files this way. I simply want to organize files but their location changes on its own. Any ideas?
