I tried submitting a ticket on Microsoft's support site - was unsuccessful, clicking Submit would do nothing.
I've had Acousticamp3 CD maker for several years on Windows XP and Vista. I can't use it withWindows 8 - when selecting music files from the left Library pane and draggingthem to the right Playlist pane they do not appear. However - placing thecursor in the area of a file, right clicking and selecting Play will in factplay the song, and upon exiting I'm prompted if I'd like to save the list.Acoustica acknowledges the defect but isn't planning to implement a fix sincethey consider the program 'old' and believe it's not that competitive sincethere's so many others out there, many free.
I have found none, free or not, that have the same features such crossfading to CDs and to mp3players by means of file rendering - a long file containing many songscrossfaded into segues. I saw something similar from Sony, but it was around $90 and probably included video and other featuresI don't need. I could not insert a screenshot for a betterexample. I've attached a file of the screenshot showing Play is available since files exist in the Playlist pane, they just can't be seen. Here is the download:

I tried variouscompatibility modes, color/screen resolution with no luck. I wonder if there'sany setting or something that could be even temporarily set so the text could simply be displayed in the Playlist pane.
