Laptop shuts down unexpectedly

I'm not sure if this is the right forum to ask about this, but I thought I'd give it a try. I bought an ASUS N56VJ laptop in February of this year, 2013. It has suddenly shut down six or seven times. This happens very randomly and with no pattern that I can see. It's not an overheating issue as I'm monitoring the temperature with ReatTempGT (and it often happens after only being on for a few minutes). I managed to find an error when I checked the event viewer that was from approximately the time that it happened. I'll post the information below. If anyone can explain what's going on I'd really appreciate it. Thank you!

Have you uninstalled your Nvidia drivers?

Run the default windows drivers for a bit see if it stabilizes.

If all is good, then use a different Nvidia driver version.

Thanks for the reply. It's happened with pretty much each version of the Nvidia drivers I've updated to. Is it possible that every single driver could be causing the same issue? Maybe something that Nvidia isn't aware of?

I also found this one. This is definitely the error that happened. This happens when I'm running with the AC adapter plugged in.

"The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly."

have you checked for the bugs as in most of the similar cases the same reason causes the same havoc to the system

Of course I've run virus and malware scans, but I've actually never had a single virus or malware problem since I got this laptop. Not even one! :)

What bugs are you referring to? Where have you read about similar issues being caused by certain bugs?
