Hi,

1. Get ProcDump and extract to C:\ProcDump
2. In the elevated command prompt run:
Code:
C:\ProcDump\procdump.exe -accepteula -e explorer.exe C:\ProcDump\
3. Initiate the explorer crash or just wait until it occurs.
4. Upload the dump from C:\ProcDump to SkyDrive/DropBox/GoogleDrive etc.

Ironically, Google Drive appears to be a problem. Try uninstalling the application and see if the problem goes away.

So shouldn't it be reported to Google or something? I mean come on, this is serious stuff, Windows 8 x64 and Google Drive incompatible? Come on.

UPDATE: I did some googling about this and looks like the problem can be solved by disabling synchronisation icons setting. But that's lame, because next time I use Drive I won't be able to see the current state of the files being shared/uploaded. God dang how a monster like Google cannot solve such problem?

Do you confirm that Google Drive is the issue? If so, please mark the thread as solved. While I realize that doesn't solve the problem per se, the diagnostics establishes that the third party software is at fault rather than Windows.
