Automatic typing glitch

When I first start up Windows, it automatically starts filling in my password as ```````` and will not stop typing these until I hit backspace. Then I can fill in my password with no problem. So, I thought I would just fix this by using a picture password. Now, after I sign in with my picture password, it automatically opens to the Search window with ``````````` filled into the search bar.
This is just a minor glitch, more annoying than anything else. But is there any way to fix this?

slap that key a few times to clear it, and see if the problem goes away..

I tried that. Then actually took off the key and cleaned it. The problem is still not fixed.

the problem has now gotten worse and the computer is typing ```````````````s wherever it can. Even when I was typing this it kept interrupting my typing with `````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````

Can you try another keyboard?

try another Keyboard if that doesnt work, uninstall the keyboard driver then click the action tab in device manager and click scan for hardware changes.
