administrator permissions problem

My account type is administrator but still at times when I try to save downloaded items or install software a message comes up saying I need administrator permissions to do that. Any idea what the problem could be.:thumb:

You must be trying to save or install to a location that requires administrator permissions for writing. E.g. Program Files, root of the C drive. When UAC is on, your administrator account works with user permissions unless they are elevated silently (Control Panel) or via system dialgos.

Can you be more specific? Please provide screenshots of messages you're getting when you:

• save downloaded items, and specify the saving location
• install software, and specify the software name and installation location

If you can't make a screenshot of the message and the title says User Account Control, that's normal.
