Can't "Trust" my PC

I'm attempting to use the "Trust my PC" feature between my laptop and my Microsoft account but it will not work. The message does not disappear asking me to do so on the taskbar at the bottom. When I click it I am taken to a page that tells me "Your device is trusted!" but the message doesn't disappear and when I look at my settings it says that it isn't trusted.

Can someone help?

Thanks,

Danny

You have to have a working Skydrive account for this to work. You got one?

Recently lost my Windows 8 on my main PC, had to go back to Windows 7.

Nar, adding or removing devices as being trusted is only for your Microsoft account.

SkyDrive is a separate online cloud storage that you log in to using your Microsoft account credentials. It also uses your trusted devices from your Microsoft account.

Danny may not have verified it as a trusted device with the code sent to his phone or email.

Maybe its just cos it all shows up in my Skydrive account, it's not my real email account but email goes into it. So whenever I trust a new PC, the req is always sent to my skydrive acct, that way I don't hafta fish through so many email accounts (I have about 100 at this time)
