How to Change Windows 8 Time-Out?
Hi Folks,
I've just received my new desktop computer with Win-8. I have it password protected, however. It logs me off within a minute or two. How to I change this setting in Win-8.
Thanks, J.

Hello Jessie, and welcome to Eight Forums.
Since this is only after a minute and is only logging you out instead of putting the PC to sleep or hibernate, you might check to see if it may be the screensaver timeout period. If it is, then you could either turn off screensaver password protection, or adjust it's time.

Hope this helps,

Hi Shawn and Brooklyn,
Thanks for the welcome!
To clarify, I need to make this change in order to delay the system from automatically signing me (desktop at home).

System boots to the Windows 8 Lock Screen, then I login using the Log In Screen (shows only the one account). Problem occurs when I leave it for a few minutes, the screensaver (Bubbles) shows up, and then I've been logged out (sent back to the Win-8 Lock Screen).
A little confused about the second suggestion!
Thanks, Jessie
