Solved Major Problem Changing Open Apps

Ok, if I have an app and switch to another app, when I want to switch back to the app that is minimized by going to the top left corner of the screen to maximize the app, it does maximize, but as soon as I move my mouse from the top left hand corner where I opened the minimized app, it immediately mminimizes the app I wanted to use, and then brings back full screen the app I just minimized.

I am probably not explaining it clearly, if you have questions on my problem that I did a poor job of explaining, please let me know.

Thanks Brink! Although I have not been on the laptop much to really test it extensively, it appears this fix did rectify the problem,

Will this change effect negatively anything else?

Thanks gain man!

You're most welcome.

No worries. It only affects being able to use edge swipes on the touchpad. :)

Thanks again for your help Brink.Although I must co fess, I don't understand why MS made such simple tasks that everyone in the world is accustomed to using. No simple red X to close an app? I honestly don't understand why such a simple task we are all familiar with was axed.

The close red X button is still there for desktop apps, but for "Metro" apps they went with the touch/mobile way to close them instead since the "Metro" UI is for the touch/mobile market.

It takes a bit to get used to close that way, but it becomes natural once you do.

yeah, it's totally natural if you have a touch screen. now that I've used it, I find the Android way archaic. In Windows 8, it's one swipe and the Modern app is closed.

but in Android, it's a minimum 3 taps to close and app because of the all the pop-up confirmation dialog boxes. I remember sitting on the toilet with my tablet but I forgot that I was using my Android one and not my Windows one and did a swipe and suddenly realized that I was on the Android.
