As you see I've had it installed just over a month. Between October 27th - 19th Feb I didn't have this issue.
It has to of been something recent. Possibly one of the updates caused this?

does this only happen when you are using a internet browser ,or happen any time doing any thing .

you might try disablink some of the many browser addons you have going on ,also it could be Avast antivirus ,did you have that installed when the computer didn't have freezing problems .

disable all of these browser addons from you hijack this log and see if it makes a difference ,also hijack this is a bit of a outdated program, rarely used now .

It happens randomly even if my browsers are closed. It isn't caused by avast as I never had this issue before I reinstalled.
What program should I use instead?

Is this normal?

i didn't meant for you to stop using it ,just disable its realtime protection for a while to troubleshoot the problem.
if the attachment is your task manager ,you need to click on the startup tab to show what programs starting/running when you boot the computer

You might also want to check your Event Viewer logs to see if there are any entries logged that are time-coincident to the freeze duration. Also, it might be a good idea to update your system specs so others can get a good look at your specific hardware configuration.

Disabled avast real time shield for now. Will re-enable within 1 hour
If I understood correctly you would like my system specs. Specs - Pastebin.com
I will spend a few minutes now looking at the event logs could not find anything related to the hang.

Well, at least you got that out of the way; yes? So, have you downloaded any optional non-Dell driver updates (eg, from Windows Update) since the last time it worked OK? The reason I ask is because Windows Update does not always get it right in that category. You might also want to try and roll back any Dell drivers that have been installed since the last time it worked too (now I'm grabbing at straws)!

Nothing in Eventvwr under the System list right? I've had 2 SSD's now act up with 8 and gives 2 disk errors at a time.

Something like these:

The IO operation at logical block address 10f1bc60 for Disk 2 was retried.
Reset to device, \Device\RaidPort0, was issued.

I think it might be avast. The freeze does not occur as much without avast real time. Also it only freezes for less than a second.

Weird I am running the same version. Let me check if I edited my settings. My settings look default :S

Edit1: I am doing a lot of system maintenance.
Over the last 2 days/nights I have ran
  • Avast full scan (2 threats found)
  • Malware Bytes (3 threats found)
  • Defragged

I think it is hardware related as it is just the mouse and keyboard that stops responding
