Solved Windows to burn files to a DVD

Trying to use Windows to burn files to a DVD. I go into the explorer window. Click share. Then burn to disc. Sometimes it gives me the error that the folder is in the same location of the source folder. And now it just the destination has the same names. And wants me to cancel or replace. If I replace it just hangs there. I used Nero and was able to write to the DVD fine so I know its not a DVD issue. Does anyone know how I can fix this? It opens a duplicate window and at the bottom of the files it lists the new files ready to be written.

Thanks. I didn't see that step. After clicking on the manage tab I was able finish. But it only worked on a CD. I was trying to burn to a DVD that had files already on it. The menu doesn't ask for a DVD or CD data. Maybe that is the issue. It comes up with a message that there is an error or that the disc is not usable anymore. Asks to delete temp files.

.i don't use my burner very often anymore so im a little rusty
when i put a new dvd or cd in the drive i get the dialog box and a option to use disk like a usb drive or to use in another dvd player .the usb option leave the drive open until you tell it to close vd/dvd after the final burn

if the dvd is open you should be able to add files to it ,if it was close the last time it was used windows will not burn any more file to it
hope this helps

I put in a new DVD and the window did pop up asking how I wanted to record. I guess my other DVD got formatted another way. Thanks.
