I am preparing a custom toolbar with Shut Down, Restart etc shortcuts. Switch User used to be activated by tsdiscon.exe in System32 but I cannot find that in either my laptop or tablet running Win8 Home Premium. Has MS changed the executable? Where do I find it? For good measure I have run scannow on an elevated command prompt - the system files are reported OK.
Update ... I have found it in the folder below ... it only reveals itself if you search in the Windows folder rather than from the desktop. (I presume this is a folder ... I was a bit nervous proceeding any further).
C:\Windows\WinSxS\amd64_microsoft-windows-t..es-commandlinetools_31bf3856ad364e35_6.2.9200.16384_none_3d7a00ca82c87238
Is it possible to create an OPERATIONAL shortcut to this file whilst still in a windows user session?
