I've researched this everywhere I can think of. I'm one of those old folks, so some things are more difficult.
I had absolutely no problems with WIN7 however, and just my opinion, how or who made win8 such a complete disaster for anyone to use
All I want to do is pin a desktop icon to the taskbar. I've gone to every app on this pc, right clicked, left clicked,
middle finger clicked, nose clicked, no luck.
Don't want to over simplify, but wouldn't it be great if one of those computer guru's had thought of this instruction?
"To put a desktop short cut on the task bar, right click on desktop and select pin to taskbar" or
"just drag that huge desktop icon in windows to the taskbar"?
I just got this new desktop pc about a week ago, am still navigating though help, tutorials, google, to try and figure it all out. I haven't even been able to set up a completely functional email, ie click on file, send page or url to mail recipient, both those options are grayed out.
And so on and so on.
