ps/2 keyboard - no power management to disable wake up

I want to disable the "allow this device to wake the computer" to prevent the accidental pressing of the keyboard waking up the PC. This option doesn't exist though, like it does with the USB mouse. Is there a way around this?

Does the PS/2 keyboard not show up in device manager at all? If not you might be able to set that in your BIOS.

Yes it shows up in the device manager as you would expect there just no tab for power management, which I kind of expected there would be. There is no bios option for enabling/disabling this either.

What make and model mobo do you have? If you could, fill in your system specs in the user profile area.

Done that now. Its an old HP made mobo - model dx2250 - heres the spec:

Pretty lame I know but it does the job. Low power and enough grunt, it appears so far anyhow to run. media center.
