Solved Is it my computer or Windows 8 (SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION)

Not sure I am posting this in right location, but wouldn't know where the best place to post this is.

So, I bought a new laptop on the 3rd Feb 2013, took it home, fired it up and constantly got SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION errors, which caused my computer to restart, on restart it would never be connected to my wireless internet and showed no connections available. I would then have to re-start my computer to get the wireless connection back again. After 4 days of this constantly happening I decided the computer was at fault and took it back to the store for an exchange.

However, I have now had the same computer for a fortnight and it is beginning to do exactly the same as before, constant SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION errors and then not finding a wireless network, plus it occasionally losses internet connection whilst I am surfing the net.

One final thing to mention is that I have another laptop in the house which has no problems with internet connection when the new laptop goes down.

Is this a Windows 8 problem or a computer problem? I could do with finding out pronto as I only have a few days left to take my computer back under its initial 21 day agreement.

Thanks in advance

Your problem sounds like a OEM driver problem taking the computer back is best.

Symantec is a frequent cause of BSOD's.

For Norton 360 use this Norton 360 How to uninstall

Could also be memory corruption loading a bad driver. Try running memory test verify and find the bad driver.
