I feel like an absolute moron but I somehow swapped the labels of c: and D: drive on my i5 Lenovo v570 running 8 gigs of ram and a replaced 750gb Seagate ssd hybrid.

I was having a ton of issues with my installed win 7 and was unable to boot to the one key recovery program or anything else for that matter, So my system was clearly compromised.

I spoke with Avast and the solution that they gave was that they could fix my registry, including factory reset for $119.00. I am currently on a pretty tight budget so I went out to try and track down a windows 7 disk. After 7 stores I gave up but came across this shiny box saying we will fix and super speed your computer and we even have a recovery disk included for Win 7. So I'm thinking great! An answer to my problem. So I save all of my graphic design work and anything else I wanted to keep on my arsenal of 12 flash drives that I usually have all dedicated to ready boost. And I launched the repair suite. Well I could see the Os on the D: drive so I left it alone but I was given delete as the only option for c: So I'm thinking this should work as good as the instructions state and the backup Windows 7 disk that was supposedly on the system suite version 12 CD by Avanquest, would allow for a clean install.
Wrong!!...
Tells me to install my Windows disk which doesn't come with my computer nor available as a download from Lenovo.

So I purchased Windows 8 Pro and popped in the 64 bit disk and it loads and boots up but the software is installed on the C drive partition, It even booted up and gave me the option of Win 7 or 8 but it wouldn't activate my Key so I spent about 5 hours with Microsoft Win 8 Support and they finally generated a new key which still didn't work. So I allowed the tech to log in remotely and he assures me that he'll get everything working great.

Well I've got a million errors and I cant see most of the saved data on my USB flash drives.

Is there an easy fix to get a clean copy of win 8 with the factory setting only bios and still access my files on my flash drives. I'm going out of my mind and would love a little guidance. I need to download my Adobe suite and get back to work asap.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks - T
