Solved Windows 8 Freezes after sleeping and powering on.

Hi i have windows 8 pro 64-bit, whenever i set my pc to sleep and then i wake it up (i press the power button), windows 8 starts up and everything is frozen please help. The cursor and keyboard and everything freezes. I formatted the pc and still have the problem. I even had this prob with Windows 7.

*I alreADy tried sfc/scannow with no results

Try turning fast startup off: Fast Startup - Turn On or Off in Windows 8. Note that this may not be your answer since you had the problem under Win7.
