Best methods for syncing WP8 and windows pro music

I have converted my home desktop to Windows 8 Pro, installed iTunes as well as updated media player. I have added all my music and got my playlists working well. I just bought the Windows phone. htc 8x. I would like to sync my music to the phone, but I was hoping there was a cloud based application, or maybe putting my music on skydrive.

Is there a way to somehow link my home library to the cloud, or make my library accessible by my phone? It would be nice to have it virtual so I do not have to be physically at my home PC.

If not, With windows 8 desktop and phone what are the best methods and programs for sync?
