Help!
I wanted to set up dual boot for Windows 8.
I created a partition with enough space to load windows 8 from an ISO file.

However, after creating the bew volume, windows 8 displays a message that the partition is dynamically
loaded. I have deleted the partition and re-created it with the same result.

I don't remember seeing an option for dynamic creation.

In a previous attempt< I have a partition(Q), which cannot be deleted, don't know if this is a problem.

Thank you.

Welcome to Eightforums! Show us your disk management screenshot. If you have four partitions, any added partition will be dynamic...

Do this: Delete all possible partitions to remain with one partition, then instal Windows in the one full partition before doing any partitions. Do partitions after installation using Windows disk management tool by pressing Windows logo plus R together then type diskmgmt.msc to shrink the volume with windows to yield another unallocated space. Hope this helps.
