Solved A Petty Torment

In Windows 7, I was able to go into a subfolder, select View, and then list. In Windows 8 I can do the same thing, and when I select group by type, it alphabetizes the file types so that I have to wade through my Adobe Acrobat files before I can view my subfolders. Does anyone know of a way to get it to display my folders before my files? Thanks in advance.

Not sure but I think this should help maybe. right click on the mouse and you'll see plenty of options. Windows 8 likes the right mouse button.

What happens when you change the settings of "Group by" and "Sort by" (specifically "Ascending" and/or "Descending")?

That did the trick! By selecting Sort by Type, Ascending, and then Group by None. Thank you Billwindows and Lehnerus!
