I have Windows 8 installed on three computers, and have a strange problem with one of them. On my Lenovo X220T, occasionally apps will start with no input on my part. This happens both on the "modern" start screen, and the desktop. It isn't always the same app, either. Sometimes its Maps, sometimes Finance, or News Bento (news reader). On the desktop, EI has been known to start. This is connected to my wireless network, but the laptop just sitting idle on the desk. I suspected malware, but Defender, Spybot, and Malwarebytes all come up empty. Have also tried thumping on the desk or otherwise jarring the laptop, but this doesn't seem to result in anything starting. Weird, eh? Never had this happen with my homebuilt desktop, or Samsung S7 tablet.
