I see you do the same thing I do . . . Keep what's viable and add to it. I need to do the same, but will have to wait awhile yet.

32 GB DDR3 RAM??? For $85? Nice! And just curious; why not Blue Ray (sp?) I think they're getting cheaper. No liquid cooler for me.

I'll be interested to know whether the onboard video is as good as a card for photo editing, as I do some of that too.

Wynona, Sorry for the typo, I have 16GB of DDR3, not 32GB! BluRay is still too much for me because I don't watch movies. Once they drop in $ a bit more, I may upgrade, or when this DVD/RW dies...I'll let you know how it goes. I took pics of the components, except the motherboard, which should arrive tomorrow. Look for updates and pics tomorrow. Thanks!!

The party's started! The PC building party!

The motherboard arrived on Friday (yesterday), so I started the project at 5:30pm and finished up at 1:30am. 8 hours is much longer than I usually take but I stopped to eat, take pictures and I ran into a few minor issues that slowed me down, but I got past them. I'll do my best to document the pics so you can see what I did...
