where is the registry key and action center to change that?and is it harmfull?Just to clarify... sometimes the recovery partition is over 90% full and shows red bar. There is a registry key that can be changed. And a setting in Action Center under maintenance for drive status...
90% free space is also highly inefficient. Especially for what I assume is a SSD.You could buy a large thumb drive & move 90% of the stuff off your computer to it.
A computer is like the human brain.
90 % FREE space makes things work a whole lot better.
For a spinning disk, it is irrelevant. For a SSD, it would have an impact (because of the Garbage Collector).@WHS: you mean there is no way to remove this? it is bad
does it Influence on the speed of system?for example if i use95% of the space of the C drive(OS Drive)

Free Space. One of the keys to a well performing computer is maximum free space. The more free space Windows has, the quicker it can do its chores. More importantly, without ample free space on the disk, Windows can go into a critical condition called thrashing. Thrashing occurs when both memory and the disk are full. Windows tries to move things from memory to disk to free up memory, but since there is insufficient space, the system begins thrashing.
The secret is to remove large files from your hard drive as soon as possible. Remember that video you watched two years ago? Once you watch it, you should delete it or store it in another place.
Hmmmmmmmmmm! Just rechecked mine and they still go to Extra Large Icons without the colored line indicator. Strange.@FuturDreamz :so what should i do?
@Lee : i do that but nothing change
