Since yestarday I've been greeted with 'attempting repairs' on every boot. The first thing I did was boot to a Win7 backup system on one of my storage drives and ran antivirus scans. Next I and made an image of my main system in it's current broken state. My trials led to Refresh PC being the only way to get my main system running but I'd rather continue from where I left off. Tell me if you think I overlooked any solution.
I tried:
* Built-in startup repair
Log file srttrail .txt reports the root cause is bootmanager missing or corrupted, or something to that effect.
*bootsect /nt60 /mbr, according to sevenforums tutorial
Didnt help.
*bootrec /fixmbr, /fixboot, and /rebuildbcd, according to sevenforums tutorial
Didnt help.
*Sfc /scannow
No corrupt system files found.
