Task Manager very slow to open the first time

Hello fellow users. I've been loving the new Task Manager, it's better in every aspect except the time it takes to use. 1 minute is not acceptable for anything that isn't Skyrim, it takes so long that at first I assumed I hadn't pressed the keys correctly. However it's much faster to open the second time, so I guess some process stays running after it's opened the first time. I wouldn't mind slowing down my startup a bit if it allowed me to have that process already running so when I open it the first time it takes a second. Can anyone tell me which process it might be and how I can set it to execute on startup? I'm not trying to open Task Manager on startup, just whatever makes it open faster.

As a test, disable Windows Defender from Control Panel. Reboot and see if it opens quicker. Does for me. Re-enable when done testing. Toolbars and save dialogs also open much, much faster with Defender disabled. I think I'm going to look for a new AV program to try.

I've got the same problem, same phenomenon (opens much quicker the second time), as well as the other problems you mentioned (right click menus, etc don't open instantly even though I'm running a quad core i7). I already had Defender disabled (avast and malwarebytes are running). So that may not be the problem.

    really, ridiculously fast
Same, I only use Comodo Internet Security, Defender is disabled.

I have the same problem. It really pisses me off to no end! I am also looking to do whatever it does when it is opened for the first time, at the time of startup itself so that it opens instantly when I need it. :/
