I've got Jucheck.exe popping up, naming itself as the latest Java upgrade. I'm so worried this is a virus - after I haven't done anything to pick up any viruses. so I've had a search around...

Virus in disguise (Java) jucheck.exe? - Yahoo! Answers is what I've found.

I really need to know how to get rid of this. Everything it pops up on my screen my computer says there is a problem that has been found, I click no on the jucheck.exe but my laptop is already restarting itself. So I cannot use my laptop for more than 10 minutes as this pop-up comes up and my laptop restarts itself. This is hell. Please help me, it would be extremely appreciated.
Thank you so much.

Try scanning with Windows Defender or whatever AV/AM program you use. The scan might not complete, of course.

I would check your Java console in the Control panel and see if it is trying to do an legit update for Java.

For what do you need Java. I have uninstalled the whole thing and noticed no problems.
