    Windows 8 Boot?

don't know to put the topic , so i put it here.
i got an issue about boot on my pc running windows 8.
firstly i tried compress my C partition with compress disk mode by right click on C partition and choose properties and choose compress process mode.
after finish compressing process, i restarted my pc and into boot time, a table response that the boot compressed, ctrl alt delete to restart.
i put the windows 8 disk to repair the boot rec with command line : bootrec /fixmgr.
It's oke to boot up my pc to windows, but the boot rec's written to the E partition, that means i have 2 boot rec on my pc, 1 is a compressed boot on C partition when i choose this one to boot ,the same problem occured, and one newly created by type the DOS command above on E partition.

My question's that how do i only get 1 boot on my pc, certainly a running boot ?

i got some way to do but still get concern bout that :

1, move and paste overide boot from E to C
2, use third party to fix that
3, use DOS command "bcdedit /" to delete all boot and repair again with windows 8 disk

appriciate whoever comment and help here.

Don't understand why you would want to compress you C drive. But that besides.

The problem you are describing reminds me of an old XP problem that occured when doing a new installation with multiple HDD's connected.

So, you might want to try this:
    * Physically disconnect al the HDD's except the C drive.
    * Start using the Windows 8 disk and again repair the bootrec.
    * Start the PC and see it it works (I know, the connections to the other HDD's are temporarily down, just ignore it).
    * Shut your PC down, connect al the HDD's and have fun booting.

    Good luck!

aight man, thank you for your response, but i have a big mistake on my above post between "Drive" and "Partition" , i mean partition, so sorry for that, i'm gonna give your answer for the another case perhasp
And my reason for compress C drive that because it's nearly full for this partition, i have no idea why it get fatter so fast, i don't have much anything to install on that,i configure 54GB for this one, have <30 metro apps, <40 desktop apps, no data no game. i already use some desktop app for cleaning the temp, trash files but it don't help much.

It is possible that you have created an excessive number of system restore points. Go to Control Panel > Recovery > Configure System Restore > Configure, and see if you are using too much disk space for system restoration.
