Hey there,

I have a Logitech G510 keyboard, I never had any problems until i upgraded to windows 8. If i am typing and try and use the arrow keys to move around with in my text it will just put 3's and w's. I am unsure of what is causing this or what I would really call this problem. If anyone knows how to fix this problem that would be great thank.

Have you checked the keyboardsettings?

You should find the options here ==> Configuration Screen/ Clock, language and country/ Language

Then chose for Options and check the keyboardlayout. A normal keyboard should be "US International" or "US".

You can also try to download the newest drivers from Logitech. Perhaps the old drivers are confusing Windows 8.

Good luck!

I've tried what you said to try, I've downloaded the newest version of the windows 8 drivers from Logitech's website and checked to make sure that all my settings are set correctly and they are according to what you have said. And it's still doing it, although now its just when your doing a Google search or something along the lines of that.

Thanks

That's wierd and must be very annoying for you! Let's be hopefull, there is some progress so I see. You might want to consider connecting the keyboard to another computer. Prefferebly one with Windows 8 on in. Just try and see if on that computer you also have the wierd key output.

If you have it on multiple computers it just might be hardware related. If it's working alright you know fore sure it's software related on your own machine.

Emailing Logitech is also an option ofcourse.

I'll try the keyboard on my Laptop that also has Windows 8 Pro 64-bit on it and if its doesn't do it or does do it on my laptop then i'll get a hold of Logitech and let you know what comes of it.

Thanks
