Very recently I attempted to open the 'Documents' tab, in the Windows 8 desktop application. In an attempt to access a specific file of which I required. However I am now incapable of doing so, due to an error. Of which also prevents me from opening the following folders Music, Pictures and Videos. Previous to now, I had on multiple occasions, utilized the ability to edit and create files in the Windows 8 desktop application. And so it is rather bothersome to have such an unexpected issue be present. It is of great hope, that any whom read this post, may provide assistance in this matter. Thank You.

Hello Zeico,

Did you try doing anything like moving the default location of libraries?

For now, you might see if using the tutorial below to restore libraries may help.

Hope this helps, :)

Greetings Brink.
It is unfortunate, that your link was not of much use. The system does not respond to the dictated steps. However I have managed to discover a functional workaround to be the problem myself. Although it is not to be considered a fully fledged solution. Via accessing following Network>DAMIAN-PC>Users>Damian>My documents, I am now able to access all system files. However I thank you very much for your participation in attempting to resolve this issue. In any case the whole situation is rather mysterious. Since I not once, made any attempt, or so I am aware of, to move the default location of the libraries.

It appears as if none of the Library folders are enabled which points to a more central problem.

You may want to check if the 8 required Windows services are turned on.

If you continue to have problems it's best to leave the Homegroup from all machines then create a new one and rejoin again from all machines. This will also clear out the Homegroup credential cache.
