Why doesnt the ceton echo work with windows 8?

Why don't wmc extenders work on windows 8? Are they working to fix this problem?
I want to install windows 8 but this is stopping me from installing it

OH, then i guess there isn't any or none needed for win8 ,as posted above did install windows media center ,you need win8 pro for wmc.
and you have to email to get it free until jan 31 2013
