Solved Computer boots into "Other User" instead of normal account

Ok, so I made a local account, because I don't give a rat's about all that Sync stuff. I found out how (from these forums) to make it automatically log you into an account. However it keeps trying to log into an "Other Account", I don't have another account, that's just what it says. Then it of course says incorrect Username or Password, because there isn't one, so I have to click sign into a different account, and then click my normal account, defeating the whole purpose of having it automatically sign in, any help?

Did you originally sign in with a MS ID-type account, the kind where MS tries to force you into all the online junk? If so, that account still exists even though you eventually opted for local sign in. On several occasions MS has managed to push my almost never used MS ID sign on at me. Perhaps your experience reflects another way for MS to do so. If MS is pushing that way, then it may be tough to get around your problem. I don't know how. Sorry.

If it has it listed as "Other User" or "Other Account", then you might see if this below may be able to help.

In addition, double check your auto sign in settings in netplwiz to make sure that you have the correct user account selected and password entered. Be sure to see the note box under step 4B.

Thank you both, no I didn't have any other accounts, but I ended up getting it fixed just redoing your FAQ for auto-sign in. I checked my user accounts to make sure my normal one wasn't on there anymore (I ONLY want local), I don't see any other accounts is there a way to make sure I only have a local account on there?

Actually screw it, I'm going to reinstall 8, is there an option in the installation that lets you click Local Account? I didn't see one. I want to do this because my file folder name in the "Users" account is my real name, and I don't want that, there isn't a way to change that is there? I found this;

But it says this "Please note that the old user name will still be used by some Windows Tools, permissions come to mind." so meh

The best way to change the user profile folder's name is to create a new user administrator account for yourself, sign off the old account, sign in to the new account, and delete the old account when ready.

Yeah I figured, I was only a couple hours into using the operating system, a reinstall was no big deal, I really wanted to make sure I didn't have an account on there that was synced online and stuff. I hate all that kind of jazz. Totally appreciate the help though.
