Mouse pointer gets invisible in "metro" only.

Hi.

I installed W8 in another partition just to learn it and do the move later. I got no big issues but...

The next day I noticed I have no mouse pointer in the "metro" interface. If I am in the desktop the pointer shows OK.

I looked carefully at boot/turn off stages and at the beginning the mouse pointer is there but suddenly disappears. The same is when power off. Suddenly appears just before the final stages of the turn off procedure.

I can see the visual signals (mouse over) and click in apps but no pointer at all.

Any ideas?

You might try going to Control Panel and get to the place where you can change the way your mouse pointer looks. That might help.
