I put mine back.
Never had a security issue with them, and am confident I can fix it if I do.
Again, like the Start menu and Aero, it should be an informed choice, not blanket removal.

I think you need to rethink that position. It's fine that you think you can deal with any viruses or malware you get. But the average person would be angry if Microsoft knowingly included a feature they knew was being actively exploited.
