Hello there,

I have a couple of games installed on my secondary internal hard drive. Yet, I can't seem to figure out how to add a shortcut of this game to the metro screen.

I've tried copying the shortcut to the C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\ location but no luck.

any ideas?

thanks!

It's unlikely that these games will run without re-installing them, because they have to configure the registry and make sure the OS is configured correctly for their needs.

Untrue, and this hasn't been the case for most games for years. The worst that would happen is that the game would reset it's keybinds and/or vid/audio settings to defaults. I've always used a secondary hard drive and haven't ruined a game install in years.

One of the best ways to add them to your Start Menu is to use a little app called Oblytile.
And there is a collection of custom tiles for games and apps located here.
