Hi, everyone, I have a problem with this computer:

http://www.sony.it/s.../specifications

I'll post a youtube video to help you understand:

I'm also looking for a solution because I know the video card but I wanted to see if I could disable some video effect to remove the problem because the problem may be that too.

I can not have any solution to the problem happened when I upgraded from win7 64bit to 64bit win8 with upgrade assistant .

Thank you for any kind of suggestion.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand your reply.

Do you have the latest driver version installed at the link I posted above?

Do you have all of your Windows Updates installed?

What is the exact error message when you try to update? A manufacture "locking" video card updates is very unusual, and I can't think of a reason why; or how they would do it.
