MUI/metro on single dislpay

hello all I am new here but I did search for an answer to my question but couldn't find anything.
I am trying to find a way for the apps to open on my second display while keeping the MUI/metro up on the first(main) display.
for example watch hulu/abc/media center app on my big screen while playing around in the MUI/metro

First, MUI is a term which relates to multi-character input, for languages like Kanji, etc.. So I would not use that term for this.

Metro will only work on a single display. I also think you're a little confused You seem to want the start page to open on a different screen from Metro apps. The start screen is not metro. It's actually part of Windows Explorer, and is a Win32 app. It's just full-screen like metro apps are.

Whichever screen you have Metro on, that screen will also open the start menu. There is no way to change this.

I am a little confused then I thought the start page was metro(MUI Microsoft User Interface) this is one of the only things I don't like about windows 8 and if it is two seprate things I would think there is a way to do what I want it to.. maybe a future update
