Screen flickers and KMPlayer crashes.

I am using windows 8 PRO for the last week.
Yesterday I installed KMplayer 3 in my desktop.
When I open some files with it, it says remote procedure call failed.

Also In another case when I boots in I simply find that my boot screen flickers.
I dont had any problem running ubuntu, win 7,xp etc..

I am really worried with windows 8.
Please help me.

Give us some information on your system. Desktop or laptop? Graphics card type, processor, etc.
