Back in April I downloaded the preview of Win8 64bit as I was having some problems with Win7 64bit on my PC. I never got round to installing Win8 as I solved my Win7 problem.
Now that Win8 is shipping I've been reading some user reviews and have decided to "have a look-see". I don't want to mess around with my main PC but I do have an old laptop I could try it out on. The Upgrade Assistant gives it the all-clear. The main reason for having a look-see rather than just biting the bullet is that I'm not sure about the negative comments regarding the new look and feel.
I don't want to spend unless i decide to buy so was wondering whether the preview version I have burned to DVD will install and work OK for a few weeks while I decide whether I like it.

Any info gratefully received.
After I posted this I just realised that it's a 64bit version so will have to install it as dual boot or in a VM on my main PC. The laptop won't support 64bit OS.
