Since getting my new computer with Windows 8 installed, I no longer appear to have the facility to print an Adobe pdf file on my HP Photosmart C5280 All-in-One printer which was available as one of the print options on my XP machine.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

On another point regarding HP, does anyone know where I can download the HP Solutions Centre, which I use a lot for scanning, and will it work with Windows 8.

Thanks in advance.

Peter

Had the same problem, but found the new drivers on "HP's" web site.

Thought I'd post an update.

I have downloaded the latest driver dated 12-10-22. Whilst it said the installation had failed my printer still works ok. The update downloaded the required HP Solution Centre which I have put on my start screen. There is still no option to print as a .pdf file but I have the system set up to check weekly for HP updates so hopefully something will be available soon.

Thanks once again for your help and suggestions

Peter

P.S. The down load was over 360M long so took a while to down load even with high speed broadband
