Hi, I am From Georgia, And Sorry for my English,
I cannot Open Local Disk (C, E, D, E ...) Because when i open My Computer It says: " The folder Is empty"
When i Have Windows 7 , i have same problem and after when i instaled windows 8 this problem appeared again.
What should i do?

The drive letter C, D, E, F and the like are just the symbol rather than the logic partition of your Local Disks (C, E, D, E ...) for easy access by Windows programs. You need to go to Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Computer Management->Storage->Disk Managemnet, and assign a valid drive letter for each of your logic partitions. (Right-click on the un-lettered partition, and you get the options to assign a drive letter).

Yesterday

I experienced the same thing on my W7 install yesterday.

Windows Explorer couldn't find any drives (not even the OS)!
The running programs all continued to run as expected (e.g. Process Explorer, Winamp, AV and Rainmeter).
After I rebooted, Windows Explorer behaved normally.

I'd never seen that behaviour before in "Computer".

I often see it in "Network".
In fact it is usually quicker to type the remote address in to the Address bar, than it is to wait for Windows Explorer to find the remote computers.

Maybe there was a dodgy Windows Defender update.
I was prompted to install an update, but Windows failed to install it.
