Hi there
W7 added loads of extra language packs such as Welsh, Basque, Icelandic, Gaelic etc etc.

None of these are available for W8 -- even XP (Pro edition) had a load of these available.

We don't all use English / German / French / Spanish etc as our main language - especially non technical users.

I'm sure this will inhibit a load of people taking the upgrade.

Cheers

Uhh... seriously?

Language packs translate each piece of text in the OS, in menu items, buttons, icons, text on pages, etc...

You can't use the language packs from one OS in another because the screens are largely different. They have different text, are often differently numbered.

This is not something that you can re-use.
