I have both the consumers and preview running on my desktop as well as my laptop. I see many prices for the window 8 pro being offered from various retailers. Does the pro support 32 bit.:sarc:

Thank you. I will order the disk listed at a retailer so as to have a copy for future use. I still wish Microsoft will one day make a upgrade like the one they had for upgrading to windows seven from xp and vista which kept your programs. So time consuming to keep reinstalling programs, which I have so many of.

Hello Jrha1,
As a sidenote, you know that you can get a download of the WIN8 upgrade directly from MS {expected general availability OCT 26} at less cost than the retailer(s), and that will allow you to make a ISO which you can burn to disc and use for upgrade.
Right?
The US cost for ms download is $39.99 & if you get the disc from a retailer is generally $30 higher.
I'm citing only US prices.
If you are outside US, please do a check at MS site.
