I want it to come sooner rather than later (not that that is what everybody else wants) because I am sticking with Vista until it comes out. I do really like Vista, but Microsoft have really tried to force us out of Vista by not releasing IIS 7.5 and everything else like it and to come.
I think they are wrong trying to force us onto Windows 7 like that, and I do not even see much difference between Vista and 7, at least not enough to upgrade. Two versions ahead (Vista - 8) I can see benefit in upgrade.

I found a real improvement switching from Vista. Win7 has out of the box, what one can get in Vista after some painful tweaks. I can understand your point of view, though. I'm happy with win7 and somewhat shocked about the impending release of win8. So my investment in win7 will come to a zero after a few months? Unless there are some really substantial improvements, have no plans to switch.
If they bring it out too soon I wont be able to afford to switch unless they do the deal like with Windows 7, then there might be a chance of me getting it
