Well I have used metro, and it's not all that bad, but what if a user wants to go back to the default Windows 7 look, and feel, would this be possible or would the user have to stick with Windows 7 to accomplish this?

We're all hoping so for at least on desktops, but time will tell. The mobile and touchscreen market is the next big thing now, but hopefully they will not forget about us desktop users.
I know right, I like it and all but with a mouse It's not the same as with your finger ha it's not too bad, but not good either if you get what I mean.
