    Windows 8 pet peeves

I know that Windows 8 is still in the pre-beta stage. And it's still a good OS. But what are some of your pet peeves? Mine is the fact that they now have square windows and not rounded corners anymore most likely to fit metro. What are some of yours?

mine is propably the Auto-username. When you create an account with live id, it will automatically set your first name and last name as a username.

(i did not count in any bugs, or missing features that will be introduced in beta)

I like the suspended mode because it does my work and I don't need to bother closing any programs, I'm too lazy

First I thought of that as a problem, but now that I understand better what "suspended mode" means, I like it too

My peeve with Windows 8 that I don't know if it will be there, but the lack of metro design for Windows Explorer in the Desktop View. With one interface, you have what the definition of modern design is: clean, simple, easy to use. Versus an interface that is still holding onto vista styled themes with the rectangular close button on the windows, and the odd Aero relections on the windows.

There is the lack of picture background for Start Screen. My idea I had once for the Start Screen when it was first unveiled was to have the Desktop wallpaper be blacked out some (like what happens when UAC triggers) and the tiles do their animated thing and you click on whatever and go back to whatever. Or even blurring out the Desktop wallpaper to bring the tiles in the foreground.

The lack of one, commanding control panel for Windows 8. I'd prefer to have a PC Settings panel that controls EVERY aspect of Windows, not just one for the metro interface or one for the desktop interface. I'd like to have the simplicity of the metro control panel integrated into the desktop PC Settings panel.

Another peeve is the different font sizes for some of the text, I'd like it to stay consistent throughout.

I hate not being able to change the Start Menu background without using a 3rd party program.

Mine is the whole Win8. It is a silly phone OS that runs the Win7 desktop as a task. I do not need this and transforming desktop OSes into phone OSes is not my idea of progress in the art of computing. How about a desktop OS called "Windows" that cannot run its Metro apps in windows???? How laughable is this??? It is simply hilarious. Those who will buy this OS, deserve what they will be getting.
