Disable Metro, but still use the apps?

So I disabled metro, but I still want to use some of the apps available from the metro window, where do I find them?

Great info, I am wondering though. Would it be possible to export an app to Windows 7?

I have a touchscreen Windows 7 laptop and would love to move flashcards to it for my 2 year old. He has looked at them on this PC and is learning a lot from them.

I located the files, mainly javascript and xml but not working in a browser.
